Overview
These Terms of Service govern the provision of our Web Management & Maintenance Plans (“Services”) offered via our website and Stripe subscription products. By subscribing to a plan, you agree to these terms.
Plan Inclusions
Each plan includes the following core services:

Regular WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates

Monthly website maintenance and performance checks

Monthly analytics report (basic traffic insights)

Up to 1 hour of website edits per month (see Section 4)

Priority email-based technical support
-
Hosting and domain registration/renewal (included in Essentials, Growth, and Pro Plans only)
Note: The Basics Plan excludes hosting and domain services.
Hosting & Domains
Plans that include hosting are powered by dotHost (https://dotmd.com.au/dothost). You will be provisioned the appropriate tier based on your selected plan (Lite, Plus, or Pro).
Domains are registered and renewed on your behalf if included in your plan. Domain ownership remains with you.
Website Edits
Your plan includes up to 1 hour of website edits per month. This covers content updates, image swaps, and layout tweaks.
What’s included:

Text or image replacements

Updating existing pages or blog posts

Adding new basic pages using existing templates
What’s not included:

Major design overhauls
-
Custom development or third-party integrations
-
SEO, marketing, or content strategy services
Unused edit time does not roll over to the following month.
Support & Response Times
We provide priority support via email, generally responding within 1 business day.
Support covers:

Website downtime
-
Plugin/theme conflicts
-
Troubleshooting hosting issues (if we host your site)
Support does not include platform training, third-party platform issues, or services outside the agreed maintenance scope.
Payment & Billing

All prices are in AUD and inclusive of GST.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.

Payments are automatic and recurring unless cancelled (see Section 7).

Failed payments may result in suspension of services until resolved.
Cancellation & Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Stripe billing portal or by contacting us.
Cancellations:

Take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Do not trigger pro-rata refunds for unused time.
We reserve the right to terminate your plan with written notice if:

You breach these terms
-
We detect security risks or misuse
-
You fail to make payment after reasonable attempts
Backups & Security
We do not guarantee immunity from hacks or malware but will support remediation efforts if an incident occurs during an active plan.
Liability
We are not liable for:

Downtime caused by third-party plugins or services
-
Loss of income, traffic, or data due to external events
-
Compatibility issues following theme or plugin updates
Our total liability is limited to one month’s subscription fee.
Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at https://dotmd.com.au/terms-conditions

Technical Website Maintenance Plans

Overview
This plan provides ongoing technical oversight and maintenance for a client’s website and hosting environment. The goal is to ensure the website remains stable, secure, and optimised through regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and consultation.
Scope of Service
Services may include:

Website and server performance monitoring

Technical issue investigation and resolution
-
Plugin, theme, or platform updates as required
-
Security and uptime checks
-
Consultation and recommendations to improve performance and reliability
The plan functions as a proactive maintenance and support service designed to keep the website running smoothly and address technical issues as they arise. Major development, redesigns, or large-scale projects fall outside this scope.
Billing & Payment
The service is billed on a recurring monthly basis via subscription (e.g., Stripe). Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle.
Support Requests
Support or maintenance requests should be submitted via email. Response times depend on the urgency of the issue, but requests are generally addressed within 1–2 business days.
Exclusions
This plan does not include:

Major website development or redesign work

Marketing, SEO, or content creation

Costs related to third-party software, plugins, or hosting
-
After-hours or emergency support unless otherwise agreed
Liability
dotMD is not liable for downtime, data loss, or technical issues caused by third-party systems, hosting environments, software conflicts, or user error.
Termination
Either party may terminate the plan with 14 days’ written notice. No refunds apply to the current billing cycle.
